The Hokuriku Shinkansen will improve access to Ishikawa

Ishikawa Prefecture is located in the center of Japan. Komatsu and Noto Airport, the prefecture's gateway for air travel, is only 60 minutes from Tokyo's Haneda Airport. The distance between Ishikawa and Tokyo is within the range of a one-day business trip, and a network of expressways and railways enables fast access to the Osaka and Nagoya areas.

In the future an even more advanced transportation service will be available, with the completion of the Hokuriku Shinkansen (bullet train) , an increase in the number of international flights using Komatsu Airport, and construction of the Chubu Jukan Expressway.
